Below are examples of optional components and extras, that we offer to our machines.
When waste is first collected into bins (e.g. into a 660 litre bin) and then poured into a larger waste compactor, it’s easier to do this with a tipping device – or tippers.
The tippers can be fitted for all bins on the market – from 240 litres to 660 litres – or your usual shop-cages. Tipping devices can also be placed on their own in connection with the platform, or directly next to the compactor.

Handling of wet/moist waste
In the Nordic countries the nature poses its own demands to compactors. Winter frost sets conditions to techniques and container emptying processes. If waste is liquid or wet, you should accessorise your compactor with bottom heating. Heating keeps the container base melted, so the waste won’t freeze in it. Without a heating the waste sticking in the container may cause problems when emptying it. Heater elements are installed in metal cases on the bottom of the container. The heater’s operation is controlled with a thermostat unit. (1)
Organic waste and sometimes even mixed waste can smell bad. The problem is increased in the summertime, when the sun and heat warms up the container. This can be prevented by installing a cooler device which cools down the waste material inside the container. We utilize Finnish-made high-quality Lumikko 3,3 kW coolers. (2)
To prevent odour problems resultant of moist and organic waste, can a compactor be equipped with a ozone generator. Ozone is transferred in to the container to neutralize the odours caused by the waste material. (3)
Equipping a compactor with a container drainage system reduces its weight, which enables more waste to be treated before emptying the container. Liquids dripping from moist waste form acid solutions. Removing these solutions reduces odour problems and increases container’s protection against corrosion. (4)
